The joys of black Friday

Hello ladies!

I must admit I felt very guilty about not posting on Thanksgiving to a community that I am more thank thankful for. But in my  defense I was out of town with no computer and my only technology access was through my dads phone with internet and a screen the size of a peanut. (lets just say that I got so frustrated trying to type, that a few times that I almost chucked the little peanut out the window)

Any-who, all of my excuses aside…I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving relaxing, eating more calories in one sitting than should be consumed in a lifetime, enjoying family and friends, and reflecting on all there is to be thankful for. It’s easy to be consumed with everything that seems to be going wrong in our lives (stress over school, problems with friends/family, $ problems, etc etc etc) But when things are brought into perspective we realize that there are around 72 million primary school children can’t go to school because they have to work, there are around 143 million orphans in the world who may not have the opportunity to fight with family and friends, and there are around 500 million people in the world not just have problems with money but are completely homeless. So much to be thankful for.

Speaking of excess…I must admit that my black Friday was good (or deadly, however you want to look at it) Urban Outfitters killed me, but I found some great Christmas deals! (I can’t tell you the details, as I may have some peeping toms who may..or may not be the recipeints of the gifts ; )

But good (or bad) news is that if you missed black Friday there is cyber Monday!! A great time for you to pick up some Christmas gifts.
